Four week educational program for step-parenting households:
Wednesday, June 5th 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the McIntyre Room
Tuesday, June 11th 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the McIntyre Room
Wednesday, June 19th 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the McIntyre Room
Wednesday, June 26th 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the McIntyre Room
Topics being covered include:
- Step-parenting myths & realities
- Decision making and communication between spouses/partners
- Children’s roles within the step-family
- Conflict within the step-family
- Individualized step-parenting reference guide: identifying strengths & weaknesses, family traditions, working on conflict, household rules and expectations and keeping your marriage/relationship healthy
